Mercury Change Anything?
With the Rhizomatica Mercury coming out, does that change any plans on an actual native linux version of VarAC?
I would love to see all of this working together without the wine overhead and muck!

Rhizomatica Mercury is a great addition to the world digital modes, but it doesnot provides the level of ressiliance to low power/low snr like VARA. as long as it is relying on the FREEDV protocol, it will not be able to truly repalce VARA. I was in touch with those guys and I support their work but Its a good mode for high power/ good SNR links at the moment.
