VarAC v13 download zip file gives me some files but NOT the installer executable. Am I missing something? Where do I find the Installer version?

The newer and faster QSY is great, but the slot number is blank after the QSY happens. If the QSY is to one of the preset slots even though it was done by Hertz offset, it would be handy to see the new slot in addition to the frequency.

Today I received a B roadcast Message. And I really was astonished to see that my TRX (FT 710) changed to tx and was given an answer.

Well, I was happy that in that moment the trx was connected to a proper antenna and not to something else. I am new to VarAC, but I am sure I never gave any permission/order to go to auto-transmit. I guess it has something to do with V-mail, which I have not activated. Reading the manual give no clear indication of auto-tx out of control of the user.
I know, there are functions of that kind, but I have to activate it. Then it is my responsibility.
I expect, when I set up a new system, I have to give the permission to auto-transmit, at least one time.
- Where I can switch off this off function?

I am using my 857 with a level converter for FT8 and wonder if you are using an Yaesu 857 for VARAC chats on HF. If so what level converter are you using? How is it wired up, and do you have to do anything other than switch transmit mode to digital? Windows 11 installation. Do you use the same hardware for FT8 and what about the level converter drivers?
Thanks in Advance.

Hello.
Unlike other digital modes, it is not possible with VARAC to read the content of ongoing QSOs. It's unfortunate, because that could really help promote the mode:
for SWLs,
for operators who don't use the mode, but might become interested after seeing how it works,
for operators like me who don't speak English well enough to conduct QSOs in that language, but who would like to follow ongoing QSOs,
and maybe for compliance as well, since we are not supposed to exchange information using modes that official services cannot decode.

Is it possible to start Varac without the old QSO's in the Datastream Window??
