Hi,
I'd like to share my experience installing VARA HF and VarAC on a fresh Linux Mint 22.3 Cinnamon system using Wine.
Because VARA/VarAC behave slightly differently depending on whether a 32-bit or 64-bit Wine prefix is used, I documented the procedures separately in two PDF guides - One for Wine32 and another for Wine64.
I am not a Wine expert, so this is purely based on my own experience.
I personally use Wine 32-bit for my daily VarAC QSOs, and it has been working reliably for me.
I also tested Wine 64-bit on a fresh install and confirmed that VarAC starts and runs normally on my system as well.
Both guides assume a clean Linux Mint install and a fresh Wine prefix. The steps worked for me, but results may vary depending on the environment.
Hope this helps someone troubleshooting a similar setup.
