Config varAC for FT747gx

I'm trying to configure varAC, but I have difficulty getting it to work, because I use the radio for digimode via PTT (RTS). Is there a need for OMNI RIG? How do I adjust the interface connection options? Attached are images of the configuration I made.

OmniRig is optional. OmniRig only uses CAT commands for PTT and not DTR/RTS.
To use DTR/RTS you need to use the VarAC PTT control.
But FT-747GX does support PTT through CAT commands and VarAC has this on the list, so why not using it ?
