Newbie here - question re BW and filtering
I've just started using VaRAC and it is a really great mode as I have been searching for a Keyboard to Keyboard mode that was like my favourite old AMTOR back in the old days. I'm using a Hermes Lite 2 SDR and it appears to working fine, but I wanted to ask what people do about filtering? At the moment I have one filter set at 600 Hz to give a bit of leeway in case tuning is a bit off. Do people use a wide filter when monitoring the calling frequnecies and channels either side and then switch to narrow or am I overthinking it?
