I was using VarAC with no issues, After downloading the update it again I had no issues. However, after closing the app and opening again, VarAC reverts back to the older version. Why? Thanks!

Trust me my friend - I have not developed a magical feature that brings from the dead an old EXE file that was ran over by a new one :) I only assume you did not run over the existing VarAC.exe file with the new one but maybe launched it from within the ZIP or from another directory. Seems like you have 2 VarAC there.
