Beacon when no modem

So I just Ran APP, disconnected the modem and then she tells me 'Sending Beacon', which, of course, is impossible if no Modem However I noted that it turned the modem back on. Which is not good as I did not wish to Tx.

How did you close the modem? through VarAC or you simply closed it. When closed by itself then VarAC has a recovery mechanism to start your modem. up to 3 times. if you wish to stop transmitting its best to use "PTT DIsabled" on the left side of the main screen.
