VarAC - HF discussion forum

I have an Omni VII connected a PC running Win 10 12GB memory 6 core zeon cpu via the TenTec 712 USB Audio cable. Every time I attempt to set the Device Output on the Sound Card settings the radio goes into transmit. As soon as I change the output back to speakers it goes back to receive. This is with Vara HF v 4.6.2. It exhibits this behavior without VarAC 5.0.2 being started.

Has anyone experienced this or can point me toward a possible solution. As best I can tell, everything else seems to be functional. I just can't transmit. This setup (pc & 712 cable) works with WSJT-X and other programs.
