Beacon reset after frequency change.
Hi Irad,
I have noticed that the beacon timer resets itself when you go higher or lower with a preset 750hz. This is probably because VarAC sees this as a change. For example i am listening on 7105 with beacon on and see or hear traffic on 7104.250 so if I choose this frequency in VarAC to monitor then my beacon timer will reset and send a beacon on 7104.250.

Yes. This is intentionally. Every frequency change will result this.
People sometimes change frequency like moving band or just settling on another freq. I want them to be able to fire a beacon right away. Think about that you move to 40M from 20M and you just fired a beacon 1 minuet ago. but you just QSYed and you want to let people know you are there... why waiting another 14 minutes.
So it is expected behavior.
