VarAC and FLRig Generating Odd Filter Bandwidth Change on IC-7100
Setup: IC-7100 with VarAC using FLRig for cat control on Windows 11 computer.
Issue: Whenever VarAC initiates a change in band or frequency (even QSY to switch slots), it triggers a change of the bandwidth of the designated filter (no. 3) from 600 Hz to 3000 Hz. This is not a change in the filter selected, but rather a modification of the same filter's bandwidth. The problem does not occur when initiating frequency changes directly in FLRig or with other programs, only when initiated from VarAC, leading me to suspect something in the string generated by VarAC via FLRig may be causing the issue(?).
Comment: I realize I can re-adjust the filter's bandwidth manually in FLRig or on the transceiver, but it would be nice not to have the filter's setting messed up each time I QSY. I've asked on the HF group if anyone had a user solution, but so far have not heard of any, so thought this might be worth reporting as a bug.

Dr OM. When VarAC calls FLRIG to change frequency, it also makes sure the mode of the RIG is right (USB or USB-D) based on your preference.
THis change does not imply filters. change mode. This is the code that runs:
flrig_proxy.SetMode("USB")
No additional parameters are given.
if FLRIG decide to reset your filters when settings mode - its an FLRIG issue and not VarAC. VarAC hes no mechanism to imploy filter change through FLRIG.
Best to contact the FLRIG author and continue the investigation there.
