VarAC/VARA on RPi 500 / RPi 5 - no TX

I installed VarAC and VARA on a RPi 5 / RPi500. My TRX is a QMX+ (CAT-Commands from TS-450). It seems, that the installation was successfull: In VARA I can use the Tune-Function and in VarAC CAT-Commands for Frequency-Change and PTT are working. BUT: If I try to send CQ or a Beacon, the TRX will not change in TX-Mode.
I checked the Ports with netstat and lsof: 8100 an 8300 are marked as connected if VarAC and VARA are running.
What went wrong?

i dont know for sure what went wrong, but you might be able to work around the problem my using flrig in between varac and the rig.
