Pactor modem using VarAC
Is there a way to use an external pactor modem on a MAC or Linux using VarAC ?
Looks like there are a lot of posibilities, playing games etc. 🙄
But the more serious functionality is forgotten.😉

the answer is no - there is no support for hardware modems ;) Martin, if varac could address your pactor modem. With whom would you connect? everybody else uses the VARA modem. You could go to the product managers of those two modem types and ask them if they feel like cooperating on a common protocol. My guess is they dont want to exchange the inner workings of their modems with anyone. i.e. Pactor IV or so.. is definetely a very explensive feature they will never open source. Tell me how that goes, if theyre up for it... then i will help you putting peer pressure on irad :)
