New user - timing of VARA off by several seconds
VarAC hams -- I'm just trying to get set up here, but it seems there is a several second lag between the time that VarAC is telling VARA to do something and I see the activity on the radio. Using only the OmniRig setting test within VarAC, hitting '"test PTT on" results in the radio transmitting several seconds later (and back to RX several seconds after "test PTT off." I've got an IC705 but still have the address set to look like a 7300 (many apps not updated yet); OmniRig is talking to the correct com port (as evidenced by being able to change freq and PTT), Vara is using the right sound card (as evidenced by seeing modulation on TX).
Something isn't right, though. Anyone see this?
