Hi all,

I'm very much enjoying VarAC - a cool way to chat over HF!

So far, I have had no issues apart from my reports do not seem to be coming in via PSKReporter.

I am using:

The VarAC logs seem to show that the reports are sucessfully going to PSKReporter?

I was expecting spots to appear as per below:

I'm perplexed as it appears that the reports are getting sent ok.

Does anyone have any pointers on debugging this? Is there any extra debugging I can enable?

I have solved my own question!

Windows defender had locked VarAC down for some reason.... (Windows eh ^£*&^$££)

I was tricked as I forgot that the VARA modem and VarAC are seperate applications! (VARA was already in the firewall list)

To resolve (if anyone else has this issue (on Win10):

Search for "Allow an app through Windows Firewall"

Select "Allow another app" and search for the VarAC *.exe

VarAC can then be allowed through (N.b. - I am not sure if both private and public needs to be checked. I'll test and confirm):

PSKReporter then works!!
