Help Please
I am struggling to set up VARAC with FLRIG,I have tried all sorts of settings but cannot get things to work.
My set up is Yeasu FT 897 with Yeasu SKU17 interface and running Windows 10.
The SCU17 downloads both a standard and an enhanced port to which my interface is connected.
I cannot use the CAT port on my radio as it is used by my ATU.
It works ok when I use CAT but then can't use my ATU.
Can anyone please help me out with the settings on FLRIG to get things working together.
I have been trying for weeks and what should seem easy has become so difficult for me and at the age of 75 I am struggling!

You are beating a dead horse! By your own admission your CAT port is used by your Tuner and have no secondary CAT port. With No CAT port on your radio you can NOT have Rig control so the Rig settings will never work. Either free up you CAT port or run VarAC with no Rig control (which will limit a bunch of functionality), there is no other way around this.
