VarAC - HF discussion forum

I gave a presentation about VarAC at my radio club yesterday and got a question I couldn't answer regarding the relay capability: is there a mechanism to execute a multiple hop relay? For example, station A, who hears station B, wants to send a message to station D, who hears station C, and B and C hear each other.
