Problems with VarAC as soon as the amplifier is switched on
Dear VarAC friends
I use VarAC with my Icom IC705 and it works very well. Only when I use my Solid-State Linear Power Amplifier XPA125B from XIEGU, operation with VarAC is no longer possible.
As soon as the program tries to send a BEACON, for example, the transceiver goes on air and the VARA.EXE crashes (VarAC-Programm run). The transceiver remains on the air (TX) without transmitting anything (presumably because the modem has crashed).
To end the TX on the transceiver I have to switch it off (power off button). Something else does not work....
Has anyone had a similar experience? What do I have to consider?
Other digital modes such as FT8 work without problems with the XPA125B and the Icom IC705.
I use the following programs to run VarAC:
VARA.EXE - Version 4.8.7
VarAC.EXE - Version 9.2.3
