CI-V commands for IC-7400 and switching antenna on RX/TX
Hello,
I also want to switch between antenna 1 and antenna 2 when switching with PTT-ON and PTT-OFF.
I have a TRX ICOM-7400.
Which commands do I have to specify in the "VarAC_cat_commands.ini" file for the IC-7400 in the lines with PTTon and PTToff.
Unfortunately, I am not familiar with the CI-V commands.

Hello Irad,
I checked the behavior of TUNE again:
It depends on the transmission power whether it works. As soon as the power is above approx. 30W, PTT switches, but not ANT1/ANT2. Sometimes ANT1/ANT2 switches correctly again after approx. half a minute.
I had observed this before, that the CAT control is influenced by RFI(?). That's why I usually set the PTT via DTR/RTS.CAT and PTT then share the same COM port.
I have another CAT interface, which is possibly better shielded and provides separate virtual COM ports for CAT and PTT. I will get the cables to the TRCV for it.
Conclusion: Your program does it right - the problem lies in the hardware :)
