VarAC - HF discussion forum

I have an old TS-430S Kenwood, that still works great. I use a SignaLink USB and have worked various modes like WSJT-X and the two work well together.

In trying to setup VarAC with the SignaLink USB I can't get the 430S to transmit. I am not using any transmtting keying mode except what the SignaLink sends to the 430's mic input, from its command from software I am using, in this case VarAC.

In the PTT Configuation for VarAC what should I set it up as, since I use the SignaLink?

I looked in the VarAC manual and read comments ( problems & corrections ) here from others using a SignaLink , but it does not address my problem.

Again, any ideas why no keying from VarAC to 430S via SignaLink, as I said it works OK when using WSJT-X modes.
