Unable to Edit Frequency Drop-down List
I'm attempting to add another frequency to the drop-down list to support an EmComm drill. This is a new procedure to me and I'm not familiar with it. I can't find a good description in the User Manual nor in the discussion here. I've read a vague comment about modifying the list using a text editor, but that isn't helping.
Problem: When I select Settings/Edit Frequency Drop-down List, VarAC launches Adobe Acrobat Reader and I get the response below:
I'm running VarAC ver 10.4.3 and VARA 4.8.9 on a Windows 10 computer. I noticed that the VarAC_frequencies.conf file seems to be missing from the VarAC folder, and exists only as a backup file.
Do I need to somehow recreate the VarAC-frequencies.conf file?

Thanks for the help. I had to change the default app to Wordpad, and to get that to come up as an option had to log into Microsoft 365, but everything is working now. Much appreciated! W4BZM
