Rig Stays Keyed Upon TX
Hi,
I installed VarAC v8.4.4 and VARA HF v4.8.0 and got them today seemingly working. I'm receiving people's becons and people are picking up my beacon transmissions (according to PSKReporter). However, whenever I transmit, my rig (IC-7300) stays in Transmit mode and won't stop unless I select the "Disconnect Modem" button on the main control. Any help or suggestions to correct this problem would be appreciated.

PS I had previously installed VarAC 8.2.0 and had configured it, but didn't use it (I was working on other projects). I installed the new version (8.4.4) today (13 Dec 2023).

Thanks Mike. I read your previous post(s) and tried muting the channles but, no luck. I'm using a SingaLink interface and I can key the radio via the VARA modem and it doesn't freeze however, when I key using "Tune" via VaraC it will freeze in transmit until I activate the onboard tuner. That short transmit via the tuner will "unlock" it every time.
I've read a few other posts concernng this issue and have come to believe that VaraC and Win 10 don't play well together. I've tried 2 different computers running Win 10 with the same outcome.
I can get by using the both VFOs until we figure out a cure.
