No receive, and can't turn down ALC
Hi I am just getting started with VARAC I have set the Cat interface (using a Yaesu FT-450) I can get the rid to TX and call CQ, but I can't turn down the ALC level on the radio, I am using a usb audio interface, I can see on the Modem screen that I am receiving audio, but on the main program window I cannot see any activity (cannot receive and stations) any idea's would be much appreciated, I am using FT8 successfully with WSJT-X and Gridtracker so I think the radio is set up correctly ? regards Alan

Hi the rig is a FT-450 non "D" Have selected FT-450D and at the moment it seems to be behaving, the other problem I have is a little weird in that on the first CQ I can hear audio feedback tones from the rig, but the second and third CQ seem fine ? any idea's
