VarAC - HF discussion forum

Hello - I would like to run VarAC on Windows 7 64-bit PC but it isn't working. I have VARA-HF running there without problems. I have VarAC downloaded and installed on the PC, and I can see MS .NET Framework 4.6.1 as an installed program under Control Panel > Programs and Features. When I click on the shortcut for the VarAC program, nothing happens - no nasty messages, no error boxes, nothing. I get the little circle twirling beside the cursor, showing that something is working. Then after a few seconds that goes away and all is quiet. How do I begin to see what is going on?
