I am having problems with decoding Vara.

My rig is a Yeasu FT-991 and it is ok with all data modes except Vara,

I have full control of the rig in Vara it will switch to TX and change

bands from the program so it is not the com ports or the baud rate,

although i can hear signals coming into the rig it is not showing in

the decode panels (last heard beacons or last heard CQ calls) i am

convinced that i have a setting incorrect but at a loss to what it may

be i have tried the internet for an answer but my issue is not covered

as far as i can see,

I have tried to TX a beacon and have been spotted in Italy (from the

UK so to some extent the program is working although not many spots,

mostly no spots at all.

do I need to use WinLink to run Vara

Hoping that you can help me fix this brilliant program.
