VarAC - HF discussion forum

I have a couple of questions about QSY proceedure.

1. I am on the CF and connect to another station and the operator is there and we are having a keyboard to keyboard chat. I want to clear the CF so him or I clicks on the qsy D/U button. This then sends a pop up to the other stations and he can either accept the qsy or not? Do I have that correct.

2. I am on the CF and connect to another station and they are away but requests you leave a Vmail. You start the Vmail but conditions are poor so it is taking awhile. I get a pop up saying I am on the CF and it is going to automatically disconnect me. How do I qsy with out dropping the connection to finish sending my Vmail?

3. Same as #2 except I am sending a file.
