Is it possible to increase the size, number of letters, in a Broadcast. Seems to be limited to 91 and 84 when using digipeater?

Is it possible to increase the size, number of letters, in a Broadcast. Seems to be limited to 91 and 84 when using digipeater?
Its a kiss protocol limit with the vara modem. 91 bytes max per message.
