Message to mobile phone
As we now have E mail gateways, I wonder if it would be possible to send a text message to a mobile phone number. I can see how this would be an excellent feature for Emcoms, and a good way to keep in contact with non Licenced holders like family and friends.

Already possible and doing it. You can use the carrier's format for sending e-mail to SMS. works well via VarAC and has been used for a long time with Winlink.
