Creating same size QSLs
I was looking through my received QSLs, and there are three different sizes
1197X699 pixels, 798X466 pixels, and 998X582 pixels, all three have a 1.71:1 length/height ratio. My sent QSLs are 798X466. Why the different sizes?
If an old-time operator wants to print these cards, the height/length would not fit the ratio created by the software. A 3.5"X5.5" ratio would be a 1.57:1 ratio, or in pixels, it would be 1100X700 pixels at 200 DPI or 1650X1050 pixels at 300 DPI.
I am writing from an amateur photographer's point of view, and I edit my own photos. I crop my photos to 1200X700 pixels, which fits the 1.71: ratio scheme.
How hard would it be to change the 1.71:1 ratio in VarAC to a 1.57:1 ratio? That way, the old-timers and the rest of us could print the QSL's if desired and put them in the wall-hung QSL Card Holder. If they wanted to.

For my use such high fidelity to print out QSLs seems archaic even at my young age of 73. I use the 640 types that I can view in my computer - and when printed card sized they look as good.
