BROADCAST capabilities when off frequency / 2300Hz
Hello,
I have been scheduling QSO's with other hams off the main frequencies (like 14.111.000) using 2300Hz bandwidth and noticed that the BROADCAST option is not available. I would like to use that to schedule off main-freq nets using 2300Hz bandwidth.
Is there a reason that BROADCAST cannot occur off the main CF's at the wider bandwidth? If not, I'd like to request that capability.

As a follow up question regarding the broadcast protocol. Is the beacon speed actually changed when the main window is switched to 2300Hz? TNX Bret C / AC0AE
