Broadcast collisions
We have a weekly VarAC roundtable on 80m. All transmissions are made in broadcast mode. Quite often I am observing collisions: I can hear that another station started transmitting, but about half a second later my station starts transmitting as well. My "Ignore DCD" is OFF. Could it be that the recognition of the BUSY state is taking more time in broadcast mode?
