No power output FT-710
All the settings for rig control appear to be correct but tune or CQ or beacon cause no transmit power. Please help!

All the settings for rig control appear to be correct but tune or CQ or beacon cause no transmit power. Please help!

Gene, on my FT-710 I had to set:
1: CW SETTINGS
2: MODE CW
3: SCROLL TO PC KEYING AND SET TO "DTR". (the default for this is OFF)
As soon as I changed that to "DTR" the transmit started working. There is one other thing that I found and is under OPERATION SETTINGS - TX GENERAL - VOX SELECT IS CHANGED TO USB. But I wouldn't change that unless setting PC KEYING TO DTR doesn't all by itself fix your problem.
I had a tough time until I found the "DTR" setting. Let me know if this fixes your problem.
