Fast Connect including QSY
Problem: Connect+QSY is very slow, especially with poor radio conditions.
Connect should be streamlined to bare minimum:
1. No signal reports before QSY etc. No extra chatter. Delay or suppress welcome messages if the connection is poor/slow.
Connect should specify the QSY channel up front (similar to CW)! Ideally an empty channel should be located and negotiated automatically if possible.
Also, you could make frequency change more efficient by channelizing it and specifying a channel number. Or at least abbreviating the frequency (e.g. 14105750 - no need for 0 padding in the protocol)!

But I may have a solution:
Directed CQ 1. Can you add a target station to the CQ protocol? I think this would implement fast connect with code reuse and very little work!
2. If no answer, try a few times!
Just need the other side, that enables to automatically answer / connect back to the directed CQ!
