The problem with the files has been resolved on the drive location. Not been able to resolved issue with : VarAC_qso_log.adi files.

After looking into this file  VarAC_qso_log.adi with note pad, it appears that the format has changed with the new version 9.1.0, when I did the install that is when this all started. I compare the old lines of data with the new and can see a difference. I have no idea as to how to convert the old to the new format? Any Ideas??

Thanks for the info on the settings/rig control/qso, file control. I made some change here on the mainframe as what was happening there were too many files with VarAC hanging off the hard drive. I do backs and keep old stuff, so I had to fix it by putting all off the root directory and in another folder. I was able to get things working with the files. However, I am having problems with this VarAC_qso_log.adi file, for some reason VarAC is not reading the files but able to write to the file folder. I also noticed recent connections is showing up ok (the past 2 days when this all started). Everything else in the past 2+ years in the file is not being seen by VarAC as being worked. I have check the files for errors with ADIF Master and not coming up with anything.

It looks like I had installed Winlink but never used it. I have removed it and along with any of the folders/data. I am still getting the same error etc. Seems to me we should be able to find out what the process it that is running the the background and kill it /remove it. I have poked around with the task manager and don't see anything. I spend 2 hrs on this yesterday and did the suggestion of adding send/receive ports, I see there are some rules that allow TCP to use any/all with VarAC/Vara... I also have tried some of the other suggestions but has not worked. We need to find out what is causing this =Winlink Priority= to lock up the interface.

I show vry few stations calling CQ, most in the robo beacon mode. Need more action here! Band condx are still very poor here daytime on 20m. You can call CQ until the cows come home!

Gary, You are right, I think I am missing some data with that narrow filter on. I have made some changes to the 7300, think it will work better hi , 73 Gary

I have had this happen a few times while in qso, the handshaking just stops, goes on for over a minuet most times the other station just drops the connection and starts up again. The db readings are ok , not sure if other sigs/ noise are taking it down or?? I would think that the watch dog timer would kick in after 10-20 sec of inactivity and start up the handshaking???

I just notice while on JS8, they are using 10.300 , FYI...
