Use of a special "channel" for ping requests and ping traffic. This would free up the cq qrg and makes it easier to be heard when calling cq, especially on 20m. 73 Jens, DJ2GMS

In VarAC - HF discussion forum
Hi, the calling qrg 14105kHz is always busy but I have only a few decodes. I am running Varac 6.3.3 and VaraHF4.6.7 What am I doing wrong? Or are these other modes on the same qrg? Tnx Jens, Dj2GMS
