That did not help BUT Copying the font into the two directories mentioned elsewhere here did the trick. SOLVED 👍

all back: did not create the ~/.font directory but a ~/font directory. After creating the hidden dir it works now. Thanks! 😎

Hmm, both directories didn`t exist. I created them, copied the mentioned file into them but still get the same error again :-((

understand, might be everybody is pinging each other. Maybe it makse sense to declare ping in the decode window as such without decoding? So one would know what is going on.

The calling frequency is often blocked by beacons, so no chance to call cq without disturbing someone. Does it makes sense to move the beacons to a separate frequency similar to JS8CALL? Or will my cq call be decoded by others anyway when calling on another slot? Thanks
