Hi from Germany! What about an automatic QSY, even at "away" stations (at least within the current band) when vmails are waiting and have to be exchanged automatically? Maybe I´m not the only one who has this behaviour: Recently I worked daily with VarAC and I had repeadedly that problem: * I connected a station which I had vmails for * in case when the connection wasn´t really good [(1) 18 bps] first of all the "away"-message and reoprts were exchanged - the the vmail was started to transfer automatically. * All happened of course on the call-QRG and because of the slow connection this all took a lot of time. Rather often so long, that the vmail couldn´d be transferred completely or I didn´t receive the confirmation of the vmail received fine. In most cases the connection broke up because it was disc. automatically due to the long time on the call-qrg. The result is: the mail will be sent again, usually again on the call-QRG another time. Are there any solutions planned for that? I stay tuned ;-) 73 de Lenz, DL8RDL

What about a feature like this? "HOME" or "POS1" Button brings Cursor to "New Message"-Window. I think it would make "VarAC-users" life a little (very little) easier. Maybe as a configurable shortcut? 73 de Lenz DL8RDL

Hi from Landshut, Bavaria! Previously I tried to compose a mail to a specific callsign. Here is what I did: I was NOT connected, clicked "SEND VMAIL" and entered in lowercase in the "To:" field the callsign of a friend of mine - instead of that call which was already written there in the "To: - field" ) . I composed the message-text and saved the vmail to the outbox. Later I connected my friend and my expectation was that the mail would be transmitted. But it wasn´t transferred. I deleted the mail, recomposed it (my friend´s call already was there now because we had a recent connection) and then it worked. Is this normal bvehaviour or a bug? 73 de Lenz, DL8RDL

I´m runnig out of ideas but I think: - add a blank line when the other station trasnsmits - add no blank line when one station transmits mor than one line OR - my transmissions start at column 0 in the window, remote transmissions start at e.g. column 15 - remote transmissions are displayed in another window which could be fixed or floating - there could be three floating windwos (optional, advanced mode :-) window 1: my transmissions window 2: remote transmissions window 3: system information like "SENDING BEACON" The user would be able to rearrange the windows customized. 73 de Lenz, DL8RDL
