Has been going on for many VarAC versions. VarAC v8.6.2 Win10x64 up to date i7/SSD/16GB RAM Machine is a nice Dell but for some reason VarAC often goes "not responding" and recovers. Once in awhile it does not. I am just not clear on what the prob is maybe some sort of Windows cfg or something but no other app has this behavior. WSJTX, many browsers, RMSExpress, JS8Call, etc. Everything runs fine. Any suggestions appreciated.

1- The 40m calling freq has been in use for some time this eve- I am guessing someone did not QSY and is chatting/messaging/transferring files. Is there a way to decode and identify the stations? 2- When you broadcast is it decoded only on calling freq or chan you are tx on or do all channels rx the broadcast? Thx- Clifford - KK6QMS

New to VarAC- very familiar w FT8/FLDigi/etc. I am perplexed that my station was negotiating a connection to someone yet there was no way to see what was actually being transmitted by my station. WSJTX shows this bottom left and IMO every app ought to show what is being transmitted. If I am missing something in the VarAC window please let me know.
