Adjustment of audio-level more precise

Hi Irad,

today I installed 11.2.0 here and - after walking through setup to set checkboxes for the new features you made - I finally tried the tune-slider. I´m convinced, your idea works very good and closes the gap I missed previously. Thanks for considering my request which you solved very good.

While writing these lines I see the "CQ-popup". Reeeally a good feature, which for sure might motivate people to respond to CQ-calls.

I read you´ll be at HAM-RADIO this year. So we may have the chance to meet up personally, I´m looking forward to see and really talk to you, Irad.

Well Gary,

should this be a contribution to the subject? The answer: No. It´s a discussion between Irad and me. So I adress to you:

a) I asked polite as I since 2022 always did and put some effort in my question also. Read some of my previous posts to prove that. b) I received Irads statement also as rather straight and not too "nice" for a, in my opinion, good suggestion. But anyhow, we talked it out, long before you came along with your statement 30 mins ago, Gary. So.... c) Gary, do not tell me how to behave. You can be sure: I know how this works. As I also know well all that you said about "free software" and so on. Don´t bore me with that. BTW: that´s rude as well to be that offensive here. You might see this different - but in this case don´t care.

d) Irad and me are old enough, we do not need an advocate.

e) You can think over wether and how YOU´RE being "civil" and not putting unreflected criticism over people. Especially at issues which are not your business.

Irad, let me say: I really know that I can drag that pointer (or did you think I do not??) and I do not understand that comment. How should I set the levels since 2022, Irad?

I asked for "more precise" and "more easy" and I would call it a good and necessary improvement, not just for me. Maybe not for you but for many of us users. And: of course it is better to see a very important parameter like the audio-level immediately and not only after and while hovering with a mouse or a fingertip on some small tablet, when connected to a computer where VarAC is running. The same to adjusting the level with some "+" and "-" buttons. And: not being able to use the mouse-wheel you mention from my point of view ist still a disadvantage.

In my opinion my suggestion would be a real improvement for daily handling which you wipe away with one single, not considering all user-groups, comment. I really do not like this.

For the first - You can do it today. Just with dragging it and not using the mousewheel.

For the seconds - no room and no need... but I added that when dragging it will show the number
