I agree with you - I use an external tuner and use the Vara Tune button to squeeze that extra watt - I am a QRP Station on VARAC so don't have 100W of wiggle-room! Hi (btw - I do fine with 10W on WSJT and other digi modes - just worked 2000m path with VARAC !)

Irad, Has anyone considered adding a few additional (preferred) QSY frequencies on 40m or 20m for calling CQ, rather than using Calling Frequencies, which evoke time-out popup? (kinda like a VARAC Band-plan). As an example: 7105.750, 7106.50, 7107.25, 7108.00 14105.750, 14106.50, 14107.25, 14108.00 All assume no existing traffic! It will be interesting to see if CQ Calls get noticed? Thoughts? Terry

QSY popup and the timer 'countdown' is really annoying. If I have established a contact (example on 7105) There is usually enough time for a quick QSO and then RELEASE the frequency to someone else. That kinda works but is really no different than WSJT's canned messages.. What would be a better arrangement is for VARAC to suggest more than one frequency for users to select and then the user can then choose one and just call CQ (just like an SSB or CW QSO) that way several people are not listening on one Freq. The calling freq can still the be used to 'beacon' a station or call CQ but include the other frequency - kinda like we do when using SPLIT on Contest (but in digi) - I hope I explained it well? Any thoughts? as I hear a lot of dead-air?

Minimum size doesn't work on HP Stream 7 Tablet. Need optional / ability to reduce DATA STREAM BOX SIZE to show bottom elements on small physical screens! I put in a feature request fo Irad to consider in future version!

I think it would be nice to have it automatic QSY up 750Hz when annoying QSY nag-message times out - if channel is busy - maybe could QSY up again? Too much hand-shake going on to find a freq and then advise other guy to QSY - I just 73 / QRT when nag-message appears - works for me!
