Newbie here. I'm using a Yaesu FT-847 and a Signalink USB on a 2m simplex frequency. When i allow VarAC to bring up the VARA HF modem, and listen to the TX on an ht, the data has the correct sound and is loud and clear. If I allow VarAC to bring up the VARA FM modem. and listen to the TX on an ht, the sound is raspy. What modem should I be using for VarAC FM? Thanks. WI3J
