After installing the new VARA version 4.7.9 I have now power out. I checked all my settings and nothing has changed. Has anyone else had this problem>

For EmComm use, it would be nice to have a setting for a periodic beaconing. Every 15 or 30 minutes. This would make it easier for EmComm to give notice of being on the frequencies during time on need.   Thank you and 73, Jim Ebner, N8JE

IIrad, Is it possible that you may be able to edit the beacon text for EmComm use? I am part of the EDM team and if and when VarAC is used for EmComm use to have the capabilities to add a short text letting operators know that there is an EmComm operation going on. Something simple, like for our test EDM Test and place for the locater of the operation or station. Thanks and 73,  Jim, N8JE

Just wondering who is planing to run VarAC during Field Day this year? JIm, N8JE

I was wondering what would be the 2 meter frequency here in the states for VarAC FM? One other question, what would be a good frequency for VarAC on 2 meter SSB and would I use VARA HF for that? I am exploring some new possibilities for VarAC use.

Is there a way to create your own "I'm Away" message? I would like to maybe add a little more detail to one. JIm, N8JE
