I think this is a problem on my end, but I don't know how to resolve it. I am aware of the details only because I am a sysop for the remote station and can watch what is happening at both ends. This has happened with other stations I try to connect to, but not all. When I attempt to make a connection to the remote station from my home base, the remote station hears me and replies. I can hear with my ears the reply, but VarAC doesn't respond. If the remote station initiates a connection request, then VarAC responds as normal. Beacons sent by the remote station (20m today, for example) show SNR -07dB on my end. Beacons sent by my station show SNR -14dB on on the remote station's end. If anything, I should be easily responding to the remote station's replys and the remote station should be struggling to hear me. Is there a tweak anywhere to improve this?

Is there a way for non-hams to download VarAC to decode signals heard on a SW receiver? I know VARA can be downloaded and installed by anyone.

What is the purpose of this command? I see it sent by my station at the start of a QSO. I don't see it referenced in the user manual.

Hello All, My station automatically replies with a rejection to a verbose SNR request <VSIJ> during a QSO. No dialog box pops up with an option to accept or reject. Can't find anything in the settings or user manual to change that. Am I missing something? Regards, Justin WX6BUD

I see the option of using a complex callsign. How are complex callsigns used? When might I want to use one? Is there any particular significance to the prefix or suffix?

Hello, When I select USB-D, the software puts my rig in RTTY mode. I have played with the configuration file and replaced the USB-D command code with a copy from another similar Icom model in the file. It seems to work, but I don't know if it is the right fix. Regards, Justin WX6BUD
