My Varac HF shows "BUSY".

After I call CQ or Send Beacon my frequenct shows BUST and I am unable to make any further transmissions. It states that the freq. is busy and will wait yntil its free, but it never is free?

Although you did not tell us what radio this was I see in the settings it is a FT-991A, so that begs the questions, 1) is the 991A in USB-D mode and 2) do you have the 991A's menu item 64 and 65 set to 1500Hz as needed??
