Hi, I am very new to VaraAC. How does somebody (no-ham operator) sends email to me....? It has to go through a VaraAC established email gateway ..... but what will be my email address?
Currently, I use WinLink but would like to have VaraAC as another option.

OK, let me pose it this way: Do you have to have an email gateway to auto send? This option is greyed out unless I setup an gateway. I am OK with this, just trying to figure this out. I, as of now, do not want to setup a gateway up, so will I then have to select the relay popup when I connect without a gateway?
Does the email sit in your outbox until you connect with an email gateway? I could not find where to select this in settings.
They can not, this is not a replacement for Winlink.
the VarAC email gateway is a one way ticket (for now). meaning it allows hams to send emails through other hams who operate an email gateway.
In the future we will also add an option to do the opposite but unlike winlink where all winlink talk to the same email databases, you will be able to collect your email only through the gateway that got the email.
