So this request is something that FSQCall was able to do and I am wondering if VarAC could so this as well.
"File List Command" This would allow a remote station to request a list of "files available for transfer" from another station regardless of whether the station is attended or not.
"File Transfer" After receiving the above mentioned file list, the remote station could request a transfer of one of the files in the list. The other station would transfer the file regardless of whether the station was attended or not .

I think this feature would be very useful. I was thinking along the lines of the old BBS, but with a modern interface and speed. I'm glad to see someone else has requested it.
Honestly the lack of a file list and pull functionality is the only thing preventing me from adopting it. It is outstanding software with great functionality but the inability to get a file list and pull a file is really a show stopper.
I'd love to see this! Here's a use case: Some groups use vARIM as an automated file repository. Bulletins, intel, status reports can be posted in file folders on the machine and made available for download. Stations can also upload their own bulletins, intel, status reports that the receiving station can review and publish as necessary. After a crisis event, it's likely that folks aren't going to be sitting at their radio waiting for info. This would provide a way to move info. around while allowing people to process it on their schedule.
Can you provide a case use for a feature like this?
