A great feature would be the option of hearing an audio announcement saying, “Incoming connection request” when someone tries to make contact.

Although it sounds cool - I believe that in end it will be quite annoying if you keep hearing the same long announcement over and over again. When a connection is established then this is the moment where you want VarAC to grab your attention.. and for that you have a DING=DONG.
I'll give it some extra thouhts.
