Here's another possible enhancement. How about adding a FREQUENCY BUSY indicator when there is activity. It could be configured to show "BUSY" for something like 60 seconds after being triggered by activity, to compensate for fading.

Good idea. need to talk to EA5HVK about this. I need to get a reliable signal from the VARA-HF modem. I'll update this thread when I know more.
