Unfortunately the VARA protocol does not allow to customize the CQ call. Its a one trick pony. I did found however a "hack" where CQ KB6CIO is consider a CQ call while CQ KB6CIO-9 is consider a beacon. those SSIDs (-X options) are limited to ~18 options which I will be using for other purposes along the way.
The VARA creator do add features every now and then and one thing I asked and he already agreed is to add a locator to the CQ (& Beacon). This will happen somewhere along the way. So maybe adding a customized CQ will be a next thing to ask. We'll see. 73s!
