No it is only if I leave the system Idle for a period of time, maybe happening when the screen saver is activated.

A "RING" gesture, Hmm great idea, but make it ring for 30 Seconds and stop ringing when you hit a keyboard button. Also I have noticed that if my system is idle for some time, the Audio will change from the PC speaker to the USB sound and transmit over the air. Any suggestions there?

Maybe the answer here is a standard Away frequency that if you are away you stay on this frequency. All a remote station will need to do, is listen on the away frequency and retrieve their messages when that station beacons, this will leave the standard call frequency for keyboard CQ calls and then QSY to a vacant slot as per normal operation (Just a thought) De Paul VK2EX
