I'm having an odd problem with VaraC V11.4.0. I downloaded this version a few days ago and installed it on the Win10 shack PC. The sound card is a SignaLink USB and the rig is an FT897D Yaesu.
The new V11.4.0 wouldn't run with my Vara HF version (4.8.7) and wanted me to update it, which I did. So, the new VARA HF version is 4.8.9. All other aspects of VaraC are working - rig CAT comms are good, the PTT is working...just no TX audio.
VaraC V4.8.9 will not generate any transmit audio with version 4.8.9 of VARA HF. The soundcard is working fine on VaraC RX, there is simply no TX audio.
So far, I have rebooted the PC a half dozen times, deleted and reinstalled both VaraC and VARA HF, set VARA HF to use L, R, or Both channels and, in all cases, the problem remains. To make things even more interesting, Winlink Express has no issues when using VARA HF V4.8.9. The problem seems to be VaraC specific.
Suggestions as to what I may be missing, anyone?

P.S make sure you copy you key for Vara so you can plug it back in if you go that route.

When you say you deleted, does mean uninstall? I had similar issues when I went to Windows 11. I finally had to uninstall and delete the folders, etc. Then I created new folders in a new location and downloaded and installed again into the new folder location. Just like a fresh new install. Everything worked after that. I found the solution in this forum from a while back. Using a Yaesu FT857d

Can we get some screenshots of settings so we can assist? It will go along way in us helping you.
VarAC > Settings > Rig control and VARA > VARA tab
VARA HF > Settings > VARA Setup
